The Wurlitzer Model 300 Remote Adapter Assembly was Wurlitzer's first solution for converting its 24-selection manual-select jukeboxes to electric selection. This innovation allowed operators to connect compatible wall boxes, enabling customers to make selections remotely from convenient locations throughout a venue.
When the Model 300 was introduced in 1940, it was designed for use with Wurlitzer's 24-selection models, including the 1938 Model 24, Model 24-A, Model 500, Model 500-A, Model 600, and Model 600-A, as well as the then-current Model 700 and Model 800.
